Community Assistance Division
The Pima County Community Assistance Division's mission is to assist low-income individuals and families with reaching higher levels of economic and social self-sufficiency through the delivery of basic needs services and to advocate for low-income individuals.

Creating a more livable and viable county, improving the quality of life for residents, with a special emphasis on economically and socially disadvantaged communities, through the development and coordination of programs and services.

Emergency Services Program
Financial assistance may be available for eviction prevention, mortgage payment, move-in, utility, utility deposit, and utility repair/replacement assistance, as well as special needs such as dental, vision, and car repairs.

Emergency Eviction Legal Services
The Office of Emergency Eviction Legal Services, a new program, can help tenants in need of legal advice and representation in eviction cases.

Ending Poverty Now (EPN) works with internal and external partners to pilot innovative ways to assist people in the transition out of poverty

Faith-Based and Community Initiatives
The office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, in partnership with Pima County's Department of Community & Workforce Development, convenes, supports or directs multiple resource fairs, special events, committees and collaborations that are relevant to the activities of the faith-based community.

Summer Youth Program
The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) is a summer opportunity for youth ages 14-21 who are interested in learning new skills, working in intern positions throughout Pima County and attending summer school to help youth advance in secondary education. This program is administered by Pima County Community & Workforce Development and is available during the summer months.
