Regional Wastewater Reclamation Engineering Directives
Attention Design Engineers!
PCRWRD is in the process of clarifying and
improving the design standards and details for sewer conveyance
systems. These directives have recently been approved by the
PCRWRD Director, and more will be added in the near future.
The most far-reaching directive is the result
of recent Blue-Stake law changes, and contains new design and construction
requirements for private sewer laterals that will be required on
January 1, 2006. As a result of the new state law, all sewer lateral
construction after December 31, 2005, must contain a cleanout and
other features to allow Blue-Stake locating. Please Read!
In addition, see new directive ENG2006-09,
which clarifies the requirements for flow management and includes
a guidebook for flow management development.
Please incorporate the directives in your design
of sewer conveyance systems.
