The Regional Wastewater Reclamation Advisory Committee (RWRAC) acts as an official advisory body to the Board of Supervisors. It reviews, evaluates, and recommends policies and procedures for the operation of the Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department.

Water StudyThe City of Tucson Mayor and Council and the Pima County Board of Supervisors have initiated a multi-year study of water and wastewater infrastructure, supply and planning issues. The ultimate goal of this effort is to assure a sustainable community water source given continuing pressure on water supply caused by population growth.

Four RWRAC members (John Carlson, Marcelino Flores, Rob Kulakofsky, and Mark Stratton) represent the Regional Wastewater Reclamation Advisory Committee on the Study. For information about the study, reports, and presentations, visit the Water Study web site.

Fiscal Year 2009/10 Financial Plan

The Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Advisory Committee and the Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department held a public meeting on Tuesday, February 9, 2010, to discuss the Fiscal Year 2009/10 Financial Plan. Minutes of the meeting will be posted as soon as they are reviewed and approved by the committee, and the final plan will be posted under Financial Plans.
