Sewer User Fees and Connection Fees - Effective July 1, 2013
On March 9, 2010, the Pima County Board of Supervisors authorized the increases in Ordinance 2010-11. Changes are recorded in the Pima County Code under Title 13, Division II - Sewers, Chapter 13.20, Section 13.20.045.
Based on the yearly calculation of winter averages in a group or category, the average resident uses 8 ccfs* of water per month at a cost of $40.81, including a service fee of $12.63. The cost per ccf is $3.523.
Beginning July 1, 2013, the residential connection fee will be $300.13 per fixture unit equivalent. Tthe commercial and industrial connection fee will be $600.42 per fixture unit equivalent. Fixture unit equivalents can be found in Table 13.20.045(E)(1) in the Pima County Code.
