The Planning and Engineering Division provides wastewater planning, engineering, CIP project delivery, GIS, and records management services. The division has five sections:

• Strategic Planning: Supports Regional Wastewater Reclamation Advisory Committee, legislative issues, and coordination of projects between public, private, and academic sectors.
• GIS Maps and Records: Manages Wastewater GIS data, maintains sewer connection records and archived wastewater construction plans.
• Planning Services: Develops 5-year CIP plan and coordinates development expansions of the wastewater conveyance system.
• Engineering Services: Establishes design and construction standards for the public sewer system, conducts sewer plan reviews, provides inspection services for new sewer construction, provides utility coordination services for utility conflicts with the public sewer, and maintains hydraulic modeling system.
• CIP Delivery: Provides project management services for Wastewater treatment and conveyance Capital Improvement Program projects.
