Conveyance Division
The Conveyance Division manages the operation of the sanitary sewerage conveyance system of Pima County.
Conveyance Division Field Operations provides for the administration, inspection, and cleaning of Pima County's public sanitary sewage conveyance systems. The division operates an extensive, proactive, year-round computer-based preventative maintenance program to control maintenance activities and a vector (roach) control program. The public system includes more than 3,460 miles of sanitary sewer lines, 64,150 manholes, and 30 sewage pump stations throughout 370 square miles of eastern Pima County.

Vector (Roach) Control Program
The RWRD Conveyance Division operates the Vector (Roach) Control Program, which treats the Pima County sewer system to reduce the number of roaches. You can help us keep cockroaches out of the sewers and out of your home by bug-proofing your house. This page includes lots of information about eliminating roaches and how to notify us if you think there are sewer-related roaches in your area.
