The Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Office was founded in January 2007 to draw compliance and regulatory activities into one group. This office reports directly to the RWRD Director and includes Integrated Compliance, Permitting, Industrial Waste and Laboratory.

CRAO Laboratory
The Pima County Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (PCRWRD) Compliance & Regulatory Affairs Office (CRAO) Laboratory is not a commercial laboratory. However, the laboratory can offer the analytical capabilities listed below to other public entities such as universities, local, state and federal government agencies as well as testing for the Water Lab Alliance (WLA) & Emergency Response Laboratory Network (ERLN), upon request and agreement by CRAO Management.
