Pottery Class for Adults

COURSE DESCRIPTION - Fall and Winter Pottery Classes
INSTRUCTOR: Lillian Kinslow, BFA, 18 years clay teaching experience.
Learn Pottery at Kino Community Center!  All levels of experience welcome, from beginner to advanced. Make clay projects of your choice.  Instructor, Lillian Kinslow, (BFA,18+years teaching) will provide demos and help each student with individual projects. Lab fee covers firing and glazes. Students must buy clay from instructor. Some tools are available in the classroom. Students are encouraged to bring their own tools to class. You may call Lil for more details at 883-5664. Fall and Winter Sessions are available with day time and evening classes so you get to choose which fits your schedule. All levels of clay experience are welcome to participate. The Instructor will work with the students and provide demonstrations on various clay activities. Students work indepentently on the project of their choice!

COURSE DESCRIPTION FOR - Tiles and Mosaics
INSTRUCTOR: Gerrie Young
Learn  clay methods unique to the creation of  beautiful clay tiles and mosaics. Impress special friends, learn how to do raised designs or mini-sculptures on tiles. Practice techniques to  compose your own visions in clay.  Gerrie Young uses a natural approach to demonstrate ways to create wall hangings, small niches or pocket vessels.  Learn glazing techniques for a beautiful finish.
 
COURSE DESCRIPTION - Clay Experience with an Intro to Sculpting
INSTRUCTOR: Gerrie Young
In this class, handbuild and sample different types of clay and glaze firing.  Make tiles, vessels, and other types of slab constructions.  Learn basic sculpting techniques. Pursue your dreams to gift early.  Join Gerrie Young, a veteran clay artist and learn how to express your creative ideas.

Transform your holidays with gifts of your style and a touch of bling. Use gifts to adorn your home. Instructor will demonstrate ornamental ways to brighten your holdiay.
