Kino Sports Complex – Home of Tucson Electric Park

With a beautiful view of the majestic Santa Catalina Mountains, Tucson Electric Park is the perfect setting for the game of major league baseball. Its close-to-the-action intimate atmosphere and spring training home of the 2005 World Champion Chicago White Sox and the 2001 World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks, is what makes Tucson Electric Park one of the finest spring training facilities around. Also home to the Sidewinders, the Diamondbacks' AAA affiliate, this park has drawn universal praise from the media, which has labeled the 51,428 square foot stadium "The Jewel of the Desert".

The park seats over 11,000 guests, including family-style, lawn seating. It has a symmetrical playing surface, measuring 340 feet down each foul line and 405 feet to straightaway center field. Besides TEP, the park’s centerpiece, the complex offers a host of other recreation area opportunities like three full size, lighted soccer fields; 12 senior baseball fields; two lighted youth softball fields and ramadas throughout the complex.

About Kino Sports Complex

The stadium is a tax-levying, public improvement district and political taxing subdivision of the state of Arizona whose purpose is to protect the interests of this publicly owned facility called Kino Sports Complex. The Stadium District, better know as Kino Sports Complex, is a multifaceted venue whose showcase is an 11,000-seat major/minor league baseball stadium known as Tucson Electric Park. The Stadium District, in conjunction with Pima County Government, maintains the fiscal resources of the entire complex including facilities, grounds, personnel and the various services provided at the venue.
