Get Ready for the 11th Annual Southern Arizona Procurement Fair

Pima County, in partnership with Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and

Southern Arizona Procurement Fair

sponsorship of Southwest Gas, would like to invite you to the 11th Annual Southern Arizona Procurement Fair . This year's Procurement Fair will be held on Friday, May 8, 2009 beginning at 8:00 A.M. and running until 12:00 P.M. The fair will be located at the Pima Air and Space Museum, Hangar 4, 6000 E Valencia Road in Tucson. Come and experience the opportunity to talk to purchasing agents and representatives from over 110 government, military, corporate and business entities. Included as part of the fair are valuable workshops covering such topics as How to Do Business with Pima County and Davis Monthan, as well as City of Tucson Certification for Small Business Enterprises. Admission is free. Six foot draped tables may be reserved for $125.00 or $150.00 if your require electricity. Space is limited, so reserve your table today!!

Construction Course Series Wraps up with Graduation Ceremony

Pima County's 2nd Annual Business of Construction Courses graduation was held at the Randolph Park Clubhouse on March 18th , 2009. The graduation wrapped up the series of 10 courses which covered topics such as Getting the Work, Construction Financial Management, Planning, Insurance and Bonds (Part 1 and 2), Plans and Specifications, Scheduling, Green Building/LEED, Legal Considerations in Construction and Safety.

Pima County would like to thank the co-sponsors of the courses: City of Tucson , AMCA and the Alliance of Construction Trades for their continued support. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the many firms who provided their expertise and time in instructing the various courses.
