Pima Health Systems Notice

As of October 1, 2011, Pima Health System (PHS) will not be contracted with the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS). This applies to both the Acute and Arizona Long Term Care System (ALTCS) plans.

Below is information for both Pima Health System members and providers.

You have the option to change ALTCS health plans. You need to call AHCCCS at the phone number below no later than October 31, 2011 in order to choose a new plan. If you choose to change, you will be enrolled with the other plan beginning January 1, 2012. If you don’t want to change, you do not need to do anything.
