Lottery System
The Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation Department has determined that the best way to ensure a fair and equal system of registration for youth programs is with a lottery system. This includes the After School Recreation program, the Summer Recreation Program and the T.O.T.S. program. All program registrations will be selected by "lottery" (computerized random selection) unless the program is undersubscribed.
Lottery applications will be available at the centers for a designated one-week period during which parents or guardians may go to the center, complete the application and turn it in to the center coordinator. The lottery will be held the following week and applicants will be notified of their status.
For more information on the "lottery" system, please contact the center nearest you. |
