Ajo Pool

Located in Ajo, Arizona at the E. S. “Bud” Walker Park, this pool features 6 lap lanes, zero depth entry, a deep end, and shaded picnic tables. It is home to the Ajo Desert Sharks swim team! Swim lessons, lap swim, and various other programs are offered during the summer.   

Swim Season: Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day

Regular Season Schedule:

Open Recreational Swim: Monday – Thursday, 1:00-5:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, 1:00-7:00 p.m.

Family Swim: Monday – Thursday, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Adult Lap Swim: Monday – Thursday, 8:00-9:00 a.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Swim Team Practice: Monday – Thursday,  9:00-10:00 a.m. 1st session;  10:00-11:00 a.m. 2nd session

Swim Lessons: Monday – Thursday, 11:00-11:30, 11:30-Noon

Water Aerobics: Monday – Thursday, 5:00-5:30 p.m.

Infant swim: Monday – Thursday, 10:30-11:00 a.m.

Pool Closed: Friday
