Services offered
Free weights, cardiovascular equipment, heavy bags, speed bags. You must be registered with a boxing club or Kajukenbo to use any of the boxing equipment. Free weights and cardiovascular equipment are open to the public.

Aztlan Boxing Program
Coach: Varies
Ages 8-Adult
Monday - Friday, 4-6 p.m. or by appointment with trainer.

Zowie Boxing Club
Coach: Jesse Haro
Ages 8-Adult
Monday – Friday, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

RBM Boxing Club
Coach: Raul Marquez
Ages 10-Adult
Monday - Friday, 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Boxing programs are free; however, participants interested in becoming amateur or professional boxers must register with USA/ABF, $50 per year.

Kajukembo
Instructors: Donald Washington and John Truman
Tuesday and Thursday, 6-7:30 p.m.
This is a form of martial arts offered to all ages.
Fee: $30 per month required for enrollment.

There are other boxing programs offered at the center, however there is a capacity on each program, so please call the center for more information.

Social Services

WIC and Food Plus
Pregnant women, new mothers and children under six are eligible for services through this program, call 624-5181.
Tuesday - Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Saturday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Call 628-7871 ext. 116 for more information.

TOTS Shots Immunizations
1st three Wednesdays every month
Ages infant to eighteen.
Bring your child’s shot records.

Folate Program
Women that are not pregnant can receive education about Folic Acid, as well as a ten month free samples. Folic Acid reduces that chance of having a baby with a birth defect of the brain or spine as well as reduces the risk of developing heart disease and possibly certain types of cancer.

Clinica Amistad
People who have no insurance and no access to healthcare are eligible for services. The clinic will see patients of all ages requiring basic primary care.
