Pima County Roadway Invasive Weed Removal Program

Pima County is seeking volunteer groups to remove buffelgrass and fountain grass along roadways. Gather your neighbors and friends to clear out these invasives that threaten neighborhoods, natural landscapes and scenic roadways in Pima County. Volunteer groups must follow safety guidelines, have a designated leader and obtain a roadway permit. Pima County will provide safety vests, tools, and bag pickup. Go to www.pima.gov/nrpr to download the guidelines and forms. For more information, contact eeducation@pima.gov or call 615-7855.
