Living with Wildlife

As Tucson’s urban core grows, we must learn how to peacefully coexist with desert wildlife in an urban setting. Pima County Natural Resources, Parks & Recreation works in partnership with the Arizona Game and Fish Department to provide practical tips from local experts on how to discourage wildlife that may become a nuisance or pose a risk to you and your family.

Visit the www.azgfd.gov for in depth information about Living with Urban Wildlife.

Volunteer Opportunity

Living With Wildlife Volunteer Training

Pima County Natural Resources and the Arizona Game and Fish Department will be conducting a training session for volunteers who are interested in presenting the Living with Wildlife program. The Living with Wildlife program focuses on educating the public about our resident wildlife species and provides information about how we can co-exist with wildlife in an urban setting. Volunteers will learn how to present the educational PowerPoint presentation to community groups and will also have the opportunity to staff a mobile Living with Wildlife interactive display. The volunteer training session will be held on Saturday, January 17 at the Arizona Game and Fish Department Office in Tucson, at 555 N. Greasewood. For more information, call 520-615-7855 or eeducation@pima.gov.
