The entrance to Ironwood Picnic Area is 3.9 miles north of Ajo Way or 1.5 miles south of Gates Pass Road. Signs along the Ironwood Picnic Area drive will direct you to the meeting place for each event listed below.

Sonoran Desert Weedwackers
Join the Sonoran Desert Weedwackers to eradicate buffelgrass and fountain grass in Tucson Mountain Park. Work may require hiking and pulling buffelgrass on steep slopes. Meeting locations change frequently. For meeting location, call 520-615-7855 or email
