About Us
Provide meaningful experiences to promote Sonoran Desert conservation, elevate environmental and cultural resource literacy, and encourage use of the Natural Resource Parks system.
The programmatic elements of the NRPR Environmental Education reach Pima County residents and visitors in ways that enhance understanding of basic ecological principles and the human connections to natural systems that sustain us. A skilled team of educators and volunteers provide experiences that engender a personal connection to the natural world and create a sense of place. With personal interactions for all ages and self-guided exploration of the parks system, we inspire awareness and appreciation of natural and cultural resources. A wide range of educational and interpretive opportunities have been developed to reach the broadest possible audience.
