ART

Art Expressers (Special Needs – Ages 6 and up)
Instructor: Janet McClary
This class is designed for children with special needs who want to express themselves through creating art. We will paint, draw, and build art pieces in a fun and supportive learning environment. Caregivers are welcome and may be required, to attend in order to assist their child. There is no added fee for caregivers attending in this capacity. A $10 material fee is due to instructor at first class meeting.

Art Explorers (Ages 6-8)
Instructor: Janet McClary
We will be art explorers who journey through different techniques and materials while learning about art from around the world! We will "visit" the continents of Africa, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. Projects will include drawing, painting, sculpture, and more! Dress for artistic fun! A $10 material fee is due to instructor at the first class meeting. (No class July 5)

Students will experiment with different materials and techniques while expressing their own unique style and creativity. We will learn about different artists and art styles. Projects will include drawing, painting, collage, and 3-D works. A $10 material fee is due to instructor at first class meeting. (No class July 5)

CLAY / POTTERY

Children's Pottery Workshop (Ages 5-12)
Instructor: Gerrie Young
Children learn to trust their imaginations to make clay objects unique to their ability. We only use non-toxic glazes to enhance their projects. They should wear play clothes or bring an apron. A $12.00 materials fee is due to the instructor on the first day of class. This is a 5 week class. (No class June 17)

MARTIAL ARTS

Tiny Tigers Martial Arts (Ages 4-6)
Instructor: Sifu Williams/Laoshi Pruett
The Tiny Tigers program is developed specifically for children ages 4 through 6. Children learn a fun, exciting, specially designed curriculum to teach them respect, discipline, stranger awareness, anti-bullying and many other important life skills. All of our confidence-building exercises help to develop hand-eye coordination and motor skills. Materials fee of $5 is paid to the instructor at the first class. Kung Fu (Ages 8-15)
Instructor: Sifu Williams/Laoshi Pruett
Learn the basic techniques of traditional ChangQuan Kung Fu. Instruction will cover fitness conditioning, technique refinement, formal routines (kata) and self defense training. The course will also cover age appropriate instruction such as stranger-danger training. Exercises are specifically designed to build self-confidence, perseverance, courage, respect, responsibility and other important life skills. MUSIC

Keyboard Kids I (Ages 6-12 and Special Needs – Ages 6 and up)

A fun-filled music class that introduces the beginning fundamentals of keyboard playing. We will learn the basics of fingering, rhythm, and note-reading while learning to play fun songs! For the special needs class, caregivers are encouraged to participate in the class at no extra charge. A $10 material fee is due to instructor at first class meeting.

Keyboard Kids II (6-12 and Special Needs – Ages 6 and up)
Instructor: Janet McClary
Join us as we continue to build on the skills we learned in Keyboard Kids I class. Students with prior basic keyboard skills are also welcome. We will explore new rhythms and express ourselves through the playing of new songs! For the special needs class, caregivers are encouraged to participate in the class at no extra charge. A $10 material fee is due to instructor at first class meeting.

Singing, Moving and Shaking (Ages 5-7)
Instructor: Janet McClary
Children will learn to express themselves through singing, movement, and instrument playing. We will also have fun making our own instruments to take home at the end of the session! A $10 material fee is to be paid to instructor at the first class meeting.

TENNIS

Tennis Instruction – Juniors (ages 15 and under)
Instructor: Lou Klinger, Certified USPTR
During this 7-8 weeks class you will learn the basic fundamentals of tennis (forehand, backhand, serve, and volley) or brush up on the skills you already have to help you enjoy the game in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.
