KAPP: Kids And Parent Playtime
This 8 week program is for children under 5 and their parent/s.  Parent must accompany the child and remain on premises during the entire program.  A variety of activities are offered such as ABC's, 123's, storytime, music circles, dress up, group games, arts and crafts, nutrition and cooking, socialization and early learning skills of all types. There are special activities planned for the parents in this program as well. They include leather crafts, clay, baking, tye dye, and beadwork. Generally there is at least one field trip per session.
Tuesday and Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Winter Session: January 10 – March 1, 2012
Registration (by lottery): December 12-16, 2011

After School Program
Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation facilities are not licensed childcare facilities under section 36-882 of A.R.S.  The school-age youth programs are “at will” drop in programs and youth enrolled in the programs may come and go of their own volition.

The after school program is for children ages 5-13. 5-year-olds must be enrolled in elementary school. Activities include homework help, reading program, group games, sports, arts and crafts, board and table games, special events, and more. The program is free except for some special events.
Winter Session: January 3 – May 24, 2012
Registration (by lottery): December 12-16, 2011

Teen Nights
One Friday or Saturday night per month.
A gathering for teens to play music, Wii, ping pong, pool, cook and bake, BBQ, play basketball, snack and hang out with their friends. We will also go on occasional field trips to Funtasticks, bowling, movies, and more.

Activities include volleyball games, arts and crafts, BBQs, campfires, sing-a-longs, potlucks, group projects, environmental activities, health and safety workshops, and a parenting network, all designed to bring families together to spend quality time.
Free, except for special events.

Arivaca Senior Program
The seniors in Arivaca love to go places. Trips are always educational, and involve food and nature. Join this fun loving group, for a great time, one Thursday per month. Free except admission fees and lunch.

Skatepark facility open to the public, unsupervised, skate at your own risk. Operated by Arivaca Community Center, Inc. not Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation.
