Calendar of Events
Pima County Natural Resources, Parks and Recreation offers a wide variety of events and activities for people of all ages, interests, and skill levels.
Many of the events listed below have pre-registration requirements or limits on the number of participants. Please call the number listed for additional information or refer to the most current issue of Leisure Times. Refer to the current issue of Leisure Times for events and activities at individual recreation centers and Pima County attractions. Check back often for additional events.

Sonoran Desert Weedwackers. Join in the good works of the all-volunteer Sonoran Desert Weedwackers and do your part in restoring the health of the desert in Tucson Mountain Park. Each month the volunteer weed-warriors make good progress with the work of eradicating buffelgrass and other exotic weeds from natural areas. Experts provide instruction on plant identification and the proper techniques for removal. Gloves and digging bars provided. You will need to bring water, snacks, a hat, sunscreen and sturdy shoes.
