New LEPC Sub-Committee
The Pima County LEPC will be authorizing a new sub-committee at the January Quarterly Meeting to support the responsibilities and activities of the LEPC. This new sub-committee will allow those people from organizations that are critical to the planning process for hazardous materials planning that due to work restrictions are not allowed to be a voting member of the LEPC. This sub-committee will be entitled Advisory Sub-Committee. Members of this sub-committee will be allowed to participate in all activities same as the voting members. The people in this role will have no voting rights, they will not be allowed to hold an LEPC Officer position and they will not be allowed to represent the Pima County LEPC at significant events.
People who want to participate with the LEPC in this capacity will still need to submit the same application as a voting member. This will identify the expertise that the person has to support the needs and responsibilities of the LEPC.
Members who are not in compliance with the membership requirements as listed in the Pima County LEPC Bylaws will be placed into this membership, after being notified.
