Sustainable Action Plan

Board of Supervisors adopts Sustainable Action Plan for County Operations on August 18, 2008. 

This new plan integrates the goals of sustainability into virtually all facets of the way Pima County government operates. The plan features 119 action steps, addressing 8 key areas:  Alternative Fuel Vehicles, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Green Building, Waste Reduction, Water Conservation and Management, Green Purchasing, Land Conservation and Management, and Reducing the County’s Carbon Footprint.
