Seasonal Fitness Challenge Program

The Seasonal Fitness Challenge Program is easy and energizing! The program runs quarterly beginning in January and is divided into four seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall challenges. Each season, you may work toward one of four fitness goals which focus on increasing your daily physical activity rates. Of course, the more you move, the more you'll gain (in rewards that is).

new 2012-2013 Discount available to employees committing to exercising and tracking their activity of at least 150 or more weekly minutes of exercise. See the Healthy Lifestyle Discount website for details.

How does the program work?

It's easy! Exercise at least 150 minutes each week and record your time on the official Exercise Tracking Form at the end of each month.

What are the fitness goals?

There are four fitness goals you can work towards:

Fitness Goal
Min/Day Avg
Health Rewards
20 min/day
Challenge Pro
30 - 50 min/day
Gold Status
50 - 65 min/day
Platinum Status
65+ min/day

What forms of activity count?

All activities wherein you are continuously moving, strengthening or stretching your body for at least ten consecutive minutes count toward your exercise minutes.

How do I track my minutes?

At the end of each month, you will submit your Exercise Tracking Log which will be entered into a drawing to win a prize. If you have met the monthly Challenge Pro fitness goal, you will receive an extra drawing entry. If you have met the monthly Gold fitness goal, you will have two extra drawing entries. The Platinum Status fitness goal will earn you three extra drawing entries.

Note: All Exercise Tracking Logs are due at the 1st of each month to be entered into the monthly prize drawing.

You will be required to submit your Exercise Tracking Logs each month for Plan Year 2012-2013. If you are no longer able to participate in the Seasonal Fitness Challenge, you can register for upcoming Employee Wellness programs offered throughout the year.
