Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is much more than just a relaxation or spa treatment. Massage has been found to increase blood and lymph circulation, range-of-motion and flexibility. It can reduce many common ailments such as stress, muscle tightness, aches and pains - even anxiety and depression. Massage gives an increased sense of self confidence, mental clarity and energy levels, as well as improved body awareness and sense of well-being.
The Spiral Path Massage Therapy offers Pima County employees discounts for the following services:
Traditional Thai Massage - an ancient medical treatment received on a futon mat in loose clothing, described as "paired yoga" it involves gentle rocking motion, rhythmic muscle compression, assisted yoga positions and stretching - for all levels of physical condition.
Table Massage - a treatment received on a comfortable full-sized massage table with face cradle, using various Swedish/Sports/Acupressure techniques to address individual needs.
Chair Massage - a 10 to 15 minute treatment received while seated in a quality, adjustable massage chair, focusing on release of upper body muscle tension and holding patterns.

Traditional Thai Massage and Table Massage are both offered to employees IN THEIR HOME (please contact The Spiral Path 520-304-3401 for more information).

Chair and/or Table Massage are both offered to employees IN THEIR WORK PLACE.  Please contact The Spiral Path Massage Therapy to book treatments for your work area by emailing thespiralpath@msn.com or calling 520-304-3401 to make arrangements.  The cost is $1.00 per minute for each massage.  Scheduling a minimum of five 10-minute Chair Massage appointments is recommended (but not required), or one 60-minute Table Massage, or two 20 to 30-minute Table Massages.  When signing up to bring this to your work area, you will be in charge of sending out and collecting a sign-in sheet to return to The Spiral Path one week prior to the date. You will also need to reserve an empty office, conference room or private break area.

The Spiral Path massage therapists are licensed and certified and provide all supplies for treatments to help you Strengthen Mind-Body Connection and Sense of Well-Being, Enhance Immunity and Focus Intent.

Acupuncture

BRING BALANCE AND HARMONY INTO OUR LIFE AND INTO THE WORKPLACE WITH ACUPUNCTURE AT WORK

Acupuncture is a great way to reduce stress, anxiety, depression and improve sleep and over all well-being.  Acupuncture at work is designed to offer a protocol specific to stress reduction.  This method of treatment only uses the ear and can easily be administered in a group setting, while sitting comfortably in a chair.

Tiny needles are inserted into the ear and left in for anywhere from 15 minutes to 45 minutes depending upon your preference.  Most individuals report a deep sense of release after the needles have been inserted and often report that their sleep significantly improves after the treatment.  Each acupuncture at work session costs $15.00 per person.  There must be at least 6 employees registered and a room at your workplace reserved, for the acupuncturist to come to your place of work. 

Stress reduction treatments can be provided at your place of work during your lunch break on a one time per month schedule.  It is a great way to bring balance and harmony into the work place and into your life!

The acupuncture at work program is designed only for stress reduction and relaxation.  Should you be interested in a consultation and treatment, specifically designed for your individual health concerns, please feel free to schedule an appointment at the acupuncture clinic located at El Dorado Health Center (formerly, El Dorado Hospital).  Pima County employees and their immediate family members are eligible for a $10.00 discount.
