Walking is one of the easiest actions you can take to improve your health. Join other Pima County employees to walk at or near your worksite on a regular basis! Plus, you can earn a new reward every quarter when you participate in at least 12 Walking Club Walks. Walking Resources:
Worksite Walking Club Schedule Interested? Just show up to any of the walks below to get started. You can join as many walking clubs as you can fit into your schedule. Don't see one that fits your schedule? Start your own by signing up to be a Walking Club Champion. Before joining a walk for the first time, please contact the Champion to verify the schedule:
Your site can be listed here if you sign up to be a Walking Club Champion! Off-site Walking Club Schedule Employee Wellness also invites you to participate in or lead an off-site Walking Club that meets at a public location that is easily accessible to all employees and of potential interest to other employees, such as a public park, walking trail or track or indoor walking arena. Please contact the Champion if you plan to participate in a particular Off-site Walking Club.

If other County employees do not participate in the Walking Club on a regular basis, the club will be automatically discontinued. New Off-site Walking Club registration forms must be submitted by the 10th of the month prior to their starting month. Lead a Walking Club - Become a Walking Club Champion It's easy, fun and rewarding to be a Walking Club Champion! • Choose a day of the week (or more), time and length (at least 20 minutes) for your weekly walk(s). • Submit a Worksite Walking Club Champion Registration Form or Off-site Walking Club Champion Registration Form. • Start leading your worksite walks the following week or month; or your off-site walks the following month. We'll post the walk on the website, but you'll advertise it in your area with flyers that we send to you. At each walk you'll use a sign-in / monthly participation tracking sheet. The Tucson Convention Center Arena downtown is available for indoor walking through the City of Tucson's Employee Wellness program. Hours are 11 am to 2 pm, Monday through Friday. Use the arena entrance across from the ticket windows. One loop around the arena is .19 miles; a one mile walk is approximately 5 laps.
