Downtown Merchant Coupon Book May Help Reduce Air Pollution and Save You Hundreds of Dollars!

Two happy carpoolers commuting to work.

Everyone is looking for ways to save money – Pima Association of Governments (PAG) RideShare Program and the Downtown Tucson Merchant Association are providing an opportunity to save hundreds of dollars with valuable coupons AND to make ridesharing connections for work commutes. Even though gas prices have been lower recently, saving more money can be done by sharing the costs of getting to work in a carpool or vanpool, and also by taking the bus, biking or walking instead of driving your vehicle. Driving causes about 60% of Tucson’s air pollution, and driving less by using alternate modes will definitely help improve air quality.
