Interdepartmental Competition Benefits Southern Arizona Community Food Bank

A friendly competition during the 2007 holiday season resulted in significant donations to the Southern Arizona Community Food Bank. Three departments under the Public Works Department umbrella were involved in the competition. The Department of Transportation (DOT) partnered with the Regional Flood Control District (RFCD) to challenge the Regional Wastewater Reclamation Department (RWRD) (formerly named the Wastewater Management Department).
