Cold Case Investigators Honored by Tucson Police Department

Chief Richard Miranda of the Tucson Police Department honored Bill McCollum, Isaac Pace, and Ed Salgado with the Tucson Police Chief's Medal of Merit. In 2006, a team was put together to investigate cold case homicides. During the first year, approximately 75 cold cases were reviewed, nine cases were targeted, and two cases resulted in arrests. The team gained permanent status and continued to achieve success. The investigators traveled the country working tirelessly to resolve cases, while Bill McCollum worked to overcome many legal challenges. This team of highly dedicated staff members has worked relentlessly to provide comfort and closure to victims' families and to serve the citizens of Pima County.

ALTERNATE MODES SAVE YOU MONEY

Driving alone in your vehicle for your work commutes may cost you upwards of $12-$18 per day (around $4,000 per year), including fuel and operating costs. And if you work downtown, you probably have to pay for parking on top of that. Pima County offers benefits to us employees who choose alternate modes.
