ECAP 2009-2010 Campaign

This year’s Pima County Employees Combined Appeal Program (ECAP) Annual Workplace Giving Campaign has begun. The 2009/2010 campaign period runs now through October 30.

The ECAP annual appeal comes at a time when many people within Pima County are struggling to make ends meet. Numerous people have lost their jobs and several families are facing foreclosure on their homes. As a result, our local charities are facing an increased demand for services with a decrease in donations. Economic times are tough, and now more than ever, these organizations need your help to provide services for those in need.

ECAP requests participation from employees to give back to our community. Last year Pima County employees generously gave nearly $500,000 toward this annual effort. Even small bi-weekly donations go a long way toward helping those in need. Through payroll deductions, or a one-time donation, you can make a difference by giving hope to those less fortunate in our community.

Over 275 member agencies are funded by ECAP contributions. These social service agencies provide assistance to many worthwhile causes in our local community. Your ECAP contributions fund animal welfare and rescue groups, organizations that assist domestic abuse victims, feed the hungry, provide health care, aid seniors and youth groups, and support the working poor.

Because of your continued support, we are able to provide on-going financial assistance to those in need in our community.  All the proceeds, (100%) of your donation, go directly to fund the ECAP agencies of your choice. The administrative costs are covered by Pima County Administration.

I encourage you to support this year’s annual ECAP Appeal Campaign. You can make a positive difference in the lives of those less fortunate individuals in Pima County.

Thank you for your generosity.
