Pima
County Curbside Recycling Program
-
Your waste hauler provides collection
of recyclables at least once a week, as per county ordinance.
-
Place your recyclables in a clean
container (cardboard or plastic box, or the container provided
by your waste hauler).
-
Plastic bags will not be collected
and may cause a litter problem.
-
Remove lids, rinse and flatten
plastic containers, cut cardboard into 3' x 3' pieces.
-
Check with your waste hauler
for day and location of pick-up.
-
Many haulers have expanded their
list of recyclables.
City of Tucson
Curbside Recycle Program
The City of Tucson
operates the Tucson
Recycles Blue Barrel program.
City residents who have curbside recycling and small businesses
who have City garbage
service in plastic containers
received blue barrels for easy recycling. Just fill the blue barrel with
the acceptable materials and roll it to the curb on the same
day as your garbage
service.

City of
Tucson Neighborhood Recycling Centers
It's
never been closer! Almost all City residents are within 2.5 miles
of a Neighborhood Recycling Center. The centers are intended to
give apartment dwellers
and small businesses the opportunity to recycle, but are available for use
by all Tucson residents.
