Monitoring Plan – Next Step
Dr. Shaw told members that the revised memo to C. H. Huckelberry that had been reviewed and discussed at the February 17 meeting had been mailed. The next step is to educate the STAT subcommittee who will be submitting a proposal to FWS during the next grant cycle. This subcommittee will continue to gather information from outside sources. Sometime during the next two months, the subcommittee hopes to be meeting with the National Resources Conservation Service. Before this presentation takes place, our Chairman is hoping to meet with the subcommittee to lay out a work plan.

Upcoming meeting dates tentatively scheduled are May 17 and June 8, 2006. One of these dates may serve as the future date for the Biological Monitoring Subcommittee.
