Water

Because water is the most precious and limited resource in the desert, an adequate, assured, and safe water supply is of paramount importance to every resident of Pima County. In addition, since water issues affect everybody, the decisions about the direction of water policy should be considered by all those whom they impact. Efforts to utilize CAP water and to use treated effluent for irrigation, agriculture, landscaping, especially golf courses as well as recharge projects must be increased to preserve our limited groundwater supply.
