Public Safety

We must continue to provide and enhance public safety measures including law enforcement, criminal justice and crime prevention in order to ensure a safe and secure environment for all residents of and visitors to Pima County. It is the County’s mandate to provide a just and fair legal system for all, regardless of income or socio-economic status. The key to the prevention of crime, especially juvenile crime, lies in our families, schools, churches and businesses working together. Continued collaboration among all agencies should be pursued in order to ensure the effectiveness of public safety programs and crime control.
