Intergovernmental Cooperation

Increased cooperation among local jurisdictions is sorely needed in Pima County. During these times of fiscal challenges, local governments must cooperate and look at eliminating redundancies in order to become more cost effective. Furthermore, regional concerns like water, transportation, healthcare and sewage issues cross jurisdictional boundaries and must be addressed through an open dialogue process. Ultimately, we must all work to reestablish trust in our government.
