Flexibility to address the constant change in health care regulations and costs is needed. The Pima County health care system needs to be able to respond to these changes in a rapid, cost effective manner. Pima Health Services must be able to control costs through efficiencies and economies of scale as well as being more accessible to the citizens of the County. Supervisor Carroll has placed a particular emphasis on the need for preventative health care for seniors by establishing the Green Valley Wellness Center.
