Budget and Taxes

Greater accountability for all County departments is necessary if we are to maximize efficiency while minimizing waste and redundancy. The County must be more accountable to the taxpayers through a manageable, fiscally conservative budget. In the face of limited resources coupled with ever increasing State and Federal mandates, it is prudent to identify new sources of revenue while maintaining the current level of taxation. The County must continue to provide mandated services while maintaining budgetary conservatism through all departments and phases of budgeting.
