Joined the District Five team in January 2007
Evangelina (Angie) Quihuis is a native Tucsonan and a graduate
of Pueblo High Magnet School. She has attended both Pima Community
College and the University of Arizona, where her classes focused
on education and psychology.
Angie is the often the first contact
constituents have with the District Five office. She manages
the day-to-day operations of the district, including constituent
services, staff support, and event coordination. Upon entering
this position, Angie says her experience in politics was limited;
now, she learns new things about policies and issues affecting
constituents every day.
Angie and her husband, Charles, are the
parents of two sons, Brandon and Emilio. She is a proud grandparent,
and she is a caretaker to her younger sister, Patty.
