Jennifer Eckstrom

Jennifer Eckstrom is a lifelong resident of the City of South Tucson, where she was first elected to public office in May 1995 as member of the South Tucson City Council. She was re-elected to a second term in May 1999 and to a third term in May 2003. Ms. Eckstrom currently serves as an Executive Assistant and Chief of Staff to Pima County District Two Supervisor Ramón Valadez. In this capacity she is responsible for directing and overseeing the office staff, coordinating a diverse range of constituent services and performing public policy research and development. Throughout her community service career she has been instrumental in focusing on such critical issues that impact women, children, and families. In September 2003 she served as the Conference Coordinator for the 1st Annual Arizona Women’s Conference that attracted more than 500 participants from throughout the state.
