Amending County Code Chapter 3.06
Bonding Disclosure,
Accountability and Implementation
This is an ordinance amending County Code, “Chapter 3.06, Bonding
Disclosure, Accountability and Implementation,” which the Board
will hear on April 6, 2004. The document is in “legislative style,” with
language to be deleted in the strike out format
and new language in an underlined format.
The most significant
changes are to
expand the duties of the County Bond Advisory Committee to
include on-going oversight and monitoring of the bond program
and creation of a Conservation
Acquisition Commission that will focus on all open space
activities. The amendments strengthen what is already a voluntary
commitment to disclosure
and accountability that is not exceeded by any local government
in the State of Arizona.

hearing on April 13, 2004.
