The PCWIN Project Status Report was created to provide
project stakeholders a monthly overview of project activities, meeting
schedules, and procurement updates, should they be unable to attend
Committee meetings. Future status reports will be distributed via email,
and will provide updates to the previous month’s activities concerning
the project. Please look for monthly updates on the PCWIN website.
PCWIN Implementation Plan (10/21/08)
The PCWIN Project Implementation Plan is intended to provide written guidance to all Project Stakeholders concerning project implementation, objectives, project management methodology, responsibilities and authority, and communication. It is intended to be a living document that will be revised as necessary to properly guide implementation of the PCWIN project.

Technical Requirements & Assessment White Paper (03/10/05)
In February 2005, the Aerospace Corporation completed
an initial assessment commissioned for the PCWIN by the National Law
Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center. This resulted in the
publication of the Pima County Wireless Integrated Network Technical
Requirements Document and Pima County Wireless Integrated Network 2004
Voice & Data Communications Technical Assessment White Paper. For

User Needs Assessment Report (05/24/06)
The User Needs Assessment process collected information from all participating and neighboring agencies to understand and document the voice, data and dispatch radio communications needs of individual agencies through various written questionnaires, in-person interviews, and facility surveys. The result is a User Needs Assessment Report (two volumes).
Legacy Systems Characterization Report (06/22/06)
The Legacy Systems Characterization Report documents information on existing communications systems; dispatch facility infrastructure, traffic analysis, antenna site assessment, equipment inventory, radio coverage, and dispatch work analysis. For more information contact the PCWIN Staff Office.
The Systems Alternatives & Recommendations Report contains various technology alternatives, providing a comprehensive description of FCC regulatory issues and communications center E 9-1-1 PSAP considerations which may have an impact on the PCWIN project. CTA’s
recommendations provide the best solutions to meet the requirements
of the PCWIN voice radio, mobile data, communications center, location
systems and network systems components.
Concept of Operations (03/15/07 )
The Concept of Operations document describes existing systems and facilities that are to be replaced, and the proposed system(s) and facilities; and, concepts for their use, management, maintenance, operation and sustainability.
