Stone Avenue runs at an angle down the center of the photograph, the Southern Pacific Railroad at an angle across the foreground. The project area is just south of the warehouses lining the railroad tracks. The Stone Avenue underpass, completed in 1935, is visible at the lower right corner of the photograph.
