Archaeological Photos

In early October 2007, contractors for Tucson Water made the final cut of the 8-inch water main that ran through Council Street. The main passed through a portion of the cemetery that was especially dense with graves. The final cut, made right at the east edge of Stone Avenue, could not be made until all features in the vicinity were fully excavated.
