Archaeological Photos
A historic bit of sidewalk preserved in
the Joint Courts project area, at the southeast corner of Stone
Avenue and Council Street. The sidewalk was laid by the Works
Projects Administration around 1940. The old meter box, installed
when the sidewalk was laid, bears the name of a prominent early
Tucson retailer.
