Archaeological Photos

This small basement was found beneath a corner of the historic residence of John and Dolores Brown at 270 N. Stone. The walls were made of basalt blocks laid in mortar, while the floor was made of bricks. The metal pipe was laid some time after the house had been razed and the basement had been filled with rubble.
