Archaeological Photos

Every two weeks the Pima County Department of Transportation hauls off the clean fill that has been through the mechanical screen. Here the DOT front end loader is dumping the clean screened fill into one of the haul trucks. The screened fill is stockpiled on and hauled out along Council Street, which is paved, to avoid any disturbance to archaeological features within the project area.
