PIMA COUNTY EMPLOYEE COUNCIL - 2009
The Pima County Employee Council meets regularly to facilitate
communication between employees and the County Administrator. Issues
discussed are those that affect employees, are County-wide in scope
and do not directly concern compensation. The Council serves in a consultive
and advisory capacity, and neither processes grievances nor negotiates
on behalf of any individual or group. Issues may be brought before
the Council by any of its members, any County employee or official,
and the County Administrator. The Council submits comments and recommendations
on any such issues to the County Administrator. ADMINISTRATION: [Representing employees from the Board of Supervisors, Clerk of the Board, County Administration, Elections, Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, Procurement, Risk Management, Assessor’s Office, Recorder’s office and Treasurer’s Office]
COMMUNITY RESOURCES: [Representing employees from Community Services, Community Resources Administration, Pima County Public Libraries, Superintendent of Schools, and the Stadium District]
JUSTICE AND LAW ENFORCEMENT: [Representing employees from Constables, County Attorney’s Office, Indigent Defense, Public Fiduciary, and the Sheriff’s Department]
PIMA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM: [ Representing employees from Health, Institutional Health, Medical Examiner, Pima Health System, and Posada del Sol
