The Emergency Services Network (ESN) is operated by the Pima County Community Action Agency. The network has been a model system within the community as well as other states. The ESN is a tracking system that allows agencies to check for previous contacts on a household.
The ESN consists of nine agencies that use the network as a case management tool for the delivery of services such as rent/mortgage assistance, basic needs, and utility assistance. These services are coordinated by a computerized system using local, state, and federal funding sources. This prevents duplication of services and allows the agencies to establish what service or funding sources, if any, the household has already accessed during the year and dictates whether or not they are eligible for additional services.
