Parenting Classes Program

Free parenting classes for all teen Moms and Dads (age 12-21) are available at the Kino Teen Center. The Parenting program consists of nine weekly classes. The group meets at the Kino Teen Center from 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wednesdays. New classes start every 11th week. Prospective participants should call ahead to register for upcoming parenting classes.

  • time and stress management
  • positive discipline
  • culture and parenting

Smoking Course

The Teen Center offers a number of different topics geared for youth to provide greater awareness on a host of health risks that teens face. Featured below is a display to help teens understand the risks of smoking. It's an effective message and a harsh reality.

Location

The Kino Teen Center is located at 2801 East Ajo Way across the road from University Physicians Healthcare hospital. Suntran Bus routes #2 and #11 serve the Teen Center.
