Kino Sports Complex – Home of Tucson Electric Park
With a beautiful view of the majestic Santa Catalina Mountains, Tucson Electric Park is the perfect setting for the game of major league baseball. Its close-to-the-action intimate atmosphere and spring training home Arizona Diamondbacks, is what makes Tucson Electric Park one of the finest spring training facilities around. This park has drawn universal praise from the media, which has labeled the 51,428 square foot stadium "The Jewel of the Desert".
The park seats over 11,000 guests, including family-style, lawn seating. It has a symmetrical playing surface, measuring 340 feet down each foul line and 405 feet to straightaway center field. Besides TEP, the park’s centerpiece, the complex offers a host of other recreation area opportunities like lighted soccer fields; 12 senior baseball fields; two lighted youth softball fields and ramadas throughout the complex.
About Kino Sports Complex
In 1998, the Pima County Board of Supervisors adopted a resolution to create the Pima County Stadium District. The Stadium District, better known as Kino Sports Complex, is a multifaceted venue whose showcase is an 11,000-seat major/minor league baseball stadium known as Tucson Electric Park. The Stadium District, in conjunction with Pima County Government, maintains the fiscal resources of the entire complex including facilities, grounds, personnel and the various services provided at the venue.
